Le Cocoon
Textile installation together with Levin Lehmann and the inhabitants of Sarzeau - Six month residency and exhibition project APTUS curated by Indira Béraud - Sarzeau (FRA) - 06/23
Le Cocoon is a temporary textile installation that integrates itself into the landscape rather than disrupting it. Drawing on local agricultural practices, it reimagines familiar plant-scale structures at a human scale, creating a microclimate that reflects the delicate relationship between human intervention and natural ecosystems.
During the exhibition in June 2023, Le Cocoon hosted a food installation by Mexican artist Grace Gloria Denis.
