A reimagining of Leoš Janáček’s opera, set in an anthropocentric landscape. Excerpts from Janáček’s original score blend with new compositions by Andrea Scalmana, creating a small scale study of perspective and power - between human and animal, authority and resistance, patriarchal order and feminist utopia.
