Caring for Common Ground
Performative public intervention with Levin Lehmann and Vinzent Müller - Transformale 2023 curated by Rechenzentrum E.v. - Potsdam (GER) - 07/23
Public space can be understood as a living archive, revealing the layered histories of a city. Around the Rechenzentrum in Potsdam, traces of past structures, interventions, and material transformations form a complex palimpsest — a record of shifting political, social, and ideological values.
Caring for Common Ground is a series of performative interventions that engage with the repair of both the physical and emotional dimensions of this shared site. Through symbolic gestures, the project considers care and repair as practices of resistance and reclamation. Moving between reality and fiction, reason and intuition, the interventions unfold as a public act that reconsiders how we inscribe meaning onto our common ground.
